Power went out during the night, I only semi-woke twice: first, when the UPS beeped its exhaustion, before going dark, and again, when it beeped its relief at getting juice again.
So, I got up a little late - after six. So, what? It's drizzling outside, looks like we've had a couple of mm rainfall during the night.
With it drizzling to raining outside, I have no trouble staying inside. Bread dough is on the go, I've vacuum packed the frozen bananas, sliced the mushrooms ... only ... I'm out of space in my freezer!
Mewthos is very unhappy with the weather! He mewls at me, and when I follow him he goes to the back porch to show me 'all wets, mommy! Make it not wets!' He is adamant, that I can do that! Ha Ha, his faith is touching, albeit misplaced! Wish I could make it stop, so he could go out!
I discovered a really large bruise on my calf this morning, looks like there's a bite or sting mark in the center. I should probably check the bed for presents from Mini! Yes, she still brings me presents and 'buries' them in my bed, under the duvet, my night clothes, the pillow ... On the other hand, there were some pretty exotic things crawling and hopping around in those weeds I pulled yesterday. Who knows ...
Oh, great, NOW they suspend load shedding! Now that we've got the full weekend package done and endured! Ah, well ...
Half noon, the bread is in the oven, the other half of the dough in the fridge. My meal is also in the oven, bubbling away, geyser is on, so I can wash the dishes. Oh, and I've sauted the mushrooms ... still don't know how I'm going to freeze them.
Now it's noon and all I still have to do is figure out how I'm going to pack & freeze the mushrooms and wash the dishes. In that order, so the bowl I'm keeping the mushrooms in, is being washed as well.
Whole-wheat, placed in proving basket to rise, which gives it this shape. I sprinkle flour in the basket, before I place the dough - and that's how my bread comes out looking so delicious!
It was dry a while back, now it's raining again. Looks like 10 mm have already collected in the gauge today ...
And my little Mini. All mippies curled up in my bedroom, waiting for the wets to be finished!
