Taking it easy

Licky no-wakey at five, getting up at seven, thank you very much! Letting mippies out, then cuddle them one by one as they come for attention.

For myself, I decided to start with the dishes - wasn't all that much, but the two baking trays were a bit of work. The pizza one and the bread roll one - only because I had placed it under the pizza one, to catch the dripping tomato sauce.

When the dishes were done, I had my breakfast. One bread roll with the last of the herring - which was quite enough, too!

I didn't feel very well this morning, I thought I might be coming down with something, but it didn't last, to my relief.

After breakfast I saw that my desk seems to be buckling a bit, so I decided to move the granite slap. It's now in the kitchen, next to the stove, with the bread machine on it. And then I decided to give the oven as thorough a cleaning as I could - especially hoping to get all the burnt sauce from yesterday off! I wasn't quite successful, but it looks much, much better.

And then I started cleaning the floors - not in much of a rush, just going about it section by section with lots of breaks in between. I've washed the kitchen floor, bedroom and bathroom floor - it's looking like a home again, and not like a cat paw print collection! I left off washing the lounge floor, though. Gotta leave some show of lazy!

Janey gave me a bit of a fright today, when she came inside foaming at the mouth! But since I'd been through that once before - with Mewthos - I wasn't too worried. Still, you never know whether this time it might not turn out badly. I washed out her mouth - which  she didn't like - and let her go. She went outside, still gagging and foaming a bit, rolling around the ground as if that would wash out her mouth! She carried on like that for quite some time, which got me worried - of course - but she's fine. It settled down, the foaming stopped ... but she's not a happy girly at the moment. She'll be her happy self by tomorrow, though, I'm sure.

Mewthos seems to be growing quite fond of Tynx! He's quite lovey with her, even head-butting her and I saw him give her a lick earlier, too! He just wants to love and be loved, my little love-bug! He's on the bed in front of me right now, while Tynx is in the cat carrier. Ziva is in her underwear drawer - don't ask! It's the top drawer, and the only one with clothes in - not as comfy as the shelves, though. Janey is on the sleeper couch.

Tonight it is quite warm, after bathing, I didn't even put on a long-sleeve - only the sleeveless top! I wonder if that's gonna last. It was still quite cold this morning, though - even worse yesterday morning.

I've had another piece of pizza for dinner and packed two pieces for tomorrow's lunch. I still have two more pieces for dinner tomorrow night, and then I also still have four bread rolls. That's my food sorted for a while.

I won't go to sleep too late again, tonight, though ... one more episode of the Outer Limits and I'm going to sleep ...
