Good night

I slept well and without interruptions. I got up a little late and got to work about five minutes late.

Work was ... work. Moods are starting to get to me, which is so unnecessary ... and unprofessional. Well, I'm keeping my distance - just as far as I can be.

I'm hoping we get off early tomorrow - well, we should, but ... well, Big Chief may not be in the mood to 'grant the subjects' their right. See, we take only half an hour lunch every day - by law we must get one hour - and go home 2 1/2 hours early on Fridays. But with this Friday being a Public Holiday, we should get 2 hours off on Thursday. It's not a concession - it's our time. Lunch is unpaid. But, yeah - moods rule.

Rant over.

At home, mippies went for an extended stroll - Mewthos stayed away so long, I began to worry! He's usually always around me, rarely goes far in the evenings. Ziva didn't come at all ... so I opened the lounge window for her, so I could lock the door.

An hour later, she mipped outside the bedroom window - I was very happy to let her in!

Mini doesn't go far in the evenings. Last night, I watched her follow Mewthos around - it was too cute! Tonight she played hide-and-seek with Lady Jane around a flower pot! They still aren't friends, but at least they aren't enemies anymore, either!

I've been thinking of working on clearing my lounge, so with the extra day this weekend, I should at least be able to get started! There is no space for me for any hobbies at the moment - housework, cats, cooking and garden ... nothing else seems to fit into my life. I'm missing some fun projects to have on the go - like the paper stick weaving, or making some cat furniture from all the cardboard I've been saving! I'd really like to do something creative ... oh, and I'm thinking of starting a sour dough experiment! Since I now have a baking tray to use, I can bake a loaf in the oven.

Well, it's only one extra day this weekend - but I should be able to make a start. Right now I'm watching mippies wash themselves - Ziva with Janey on the sleeper couch, and Mewthos right in front of me, leg high in the air! Tynx is just coming back and strolling around - she still licks me awake every morning! I think I'll include a new wand toy with my next cat food order! She is so enthusiastic about all the toys!

When I bath or shower, she always crawls into my work pants and curls up inside for a nap! It does look quite cute! And she loves to be held and cuddled and purrs up a storm! When she's outside, I just have to call her and she comes running - tail confidently pointing skywards!

I must try again to make the appointment for her sterilisation ... and look for the cone of shame, she'll have to wear afterwards! Poor darling, but it will be the last time she's got to be away from home!

Well, another good night's sleep will do me good!
