I got home around half past five, let my mippies out and then set the bread machine. To my delight, the loaf would be done in 3 hours, not 3 hours and 40 minutes, so it would be finished before nine! Cool!
I did sit outside with mippies for a bit, and then the ginger trouble came around and led both Mewthos and Tynx away! So, I shut my ladies inside and went after them! Mewthos was no trouble, but Tynx? She actually got me running after her - literally! And I don't do running - with all my extra weight and the messed up knees? Running is not my thing. Well, not anymore - I used to be a sprinter, but that was some 40 odd kilo's ago!
Anyway, Tynx led me quite a chase but then just rolled over and let me pick her up and carry her home. Mewthos was already waiting for us, so they all got their treat - very, very early! And I got my peace of mind, also very early!
Once inside, after I treated them, and cleaned their litter box, I got busy in the kitchen. I washed the dishes - really! I can hardly believe it myself, but yeah, that's what I did! I packed half my lunch - that's all the bread I had left. I prepared the marinade for the Sauerbraten and put the meat in ... and then Tynx came jumping onto the table to investigate! Fortunately nothing happened! After I showered, I heated up the pasta lentil concoction I cooked last night - and enjoyed it very much! Then the bread was ready - it looks good, although it is a little small? It doesn't feel to heavy or dense - I'll see tomorrow how it turned out.
My mippies are quite happy that I also washed their flower fountain, so now their water is all clean again. And now I'm going to have my nightly piece of chocolate - yeah, one piece! And it hits the spot! I don't know what it is about this chocolate craving every night. Anyway, it's time for bed.
