Mostly Saturday

Not much to say about Friday. Licky wakey, work, mippies roam the garden ... and then I chatted online way too long, till way past ten ... nearly eleven.

So, the licky wakey didn't wakey me - I slept till half past seven! Let the mippies out - all of them, again ... went back inside, mippies came back inside, too. Ha Ha! I got lucky with the laundry, it came out as it should after the normal wash cycle and was dry in no time.

I only had the ends of the breads left, so I had those for breakfast with some Schmalz. Not enough, though. So I baked some rolls. This time I took the dough out of the machine right when it was finished - and didn't leave it in to rise further until I was ready. I kneaded it, shaped the rolls and let them rise. Exactly as I should.

Oh, and I figured out that I CAN fit the baking tray I had bought into the oven, I just have to turn it sideways. The oven is standard depth, just not standard width. I tried my old trays as well - they also fit. Only just, but the door closes.

Anyway, I baked my rolls, and instead of the tiny tight blobs I had massive wide spread rolls this time. I could only eat one! I treated myself to Bismark Herring as a reward for my efforts.

For dinner I made pizza. Again, I made the dough and took it out immediately when the machine beeped, rolled it out onto the tray, let it rise and then added the toppings.

This time, I remembered to use one of the special spreads I had gotten a while back. I also sliced Bockwurst on it, and some Salami, mushrooms and tomatoes. Topped it all with a layer of mozzarella. Delicious! I could only eat one piece, though, it was quite filling!

Mippies came inside with no trouble at all - even Tynx! Just strolled inside, no trouble - happy as ever! They've switched places tonight, though. Tynx is in the cat carrier, Ziva on the sleeper couch - after having spent quite some time in my underwear drawer again. I've spent lots of time with every single mip today. Oh, but they are just so cuddle-needy! Not that I mind - although, one after the other, with four cats, leaves me very little time!
