Monday

You'd think that with all the systems I've implemented, Mondays would finally be less chaotic, wouldn't you? Always puts me in mind of Douglas Adams: "a common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools"

It also doesn't help, to have delivered on Friday - so, the only thing left to deliver on Monday, is Friday's production. Which is brought to the store just before we close for the day ... and needs to be ready for delivery as early as possible on Monday.

So ... still working on streamlining the systems. Sigh.

Enough about work - I could write a book, if I really let loose!

At home, when I got out to open the gate, I saw all three mippies in the kitchen window! It's lovely to be so eagerly awaited!

I let Tynx out as well, but she came running back right away wanting her treat - and I don't let them out, after they've eaten. So ... she started crying to come out, at which point the big ones were milling around the door, so I just called them in and fed them all! It was a short stroll, but everyone is happy.

Tynx is really, really playful. It is such a pleasure to watch her play with all the toys the mippies sort of ignore, ha ha! Like the pink feathered tweety thing - I just took it out, switched it on and put it down. Tynx played with that for the longest time! Chasing it under the bed, under the chair, then into the bathroom - and she loves the scratch-chaise! The one I bought recently, which Ziva also enjoys lounging on. And then she starts playing with the track - she has not got tired of that, yet!

It took quite a while, but they've all settled down now. Janey and Mewly on the sleeper couch, Ziva on the bed in front of me and Tynx ... I'm not sure where, but it's all quiet, so she's settled down as well.

It was quite a warm night last night, and a warm day today - almost summer. I woke up quite hot several times last night, even though I slept in a sleeveless top. Lets hope tonight I sleep a bit better.
