Very early morning, strangely enough. Well, not so strange ... but I think the details would classify as 'too much information', so I'll spare you.
Mewthos and Ziva are such a delight in the evenings, the way they curl up together, hold each other, cuddle ...
Aren't they just too darling? And they're doing this every night, lately!
Well, as I was up early, got the laundry out on the line early ... I decided to go into the garden.
With the beans planted, I decided to continue by the car port. I'm thinking of moving the pots out of the way, so that either I or possible visitors can use the carport. Last year, I just plonked everything down in a hurry, when my neighbour brought all those cherry tomatoes.
Poor poppies! Early morning, they haven't even opened up, yet - and they get mugged by a swarm of bees! Frolicking in every flower - sometimes two at a time!
See what I mean? Such a tiny portion and I count at least four bees!
I sowed Marigold there. Those poppy all came from the seeds spread by the single poppy plant I had in the pot barely visible at the top of the photo. The one with the owl in it.
Well, it's only six, but I'm ready for bed. I cleared a wide row, filled three pots - planted tomato, yellow pepper and red pepper - then put the sprinkler on.
I tried to take a nap, and found a strange cat taking a stroll through my bedroom! Dark tabby with white paws. Really beautiful. Looking good, too - I'm guessing it's one of my neighbour's cats.
I feel like I've got a cold coming on ... I hope not, though! Well, I'm ready for a very early night ...
