Cat-purr-day

I decided to stay in bed ... I held out until about half eight! Mewthos was already twirling.

I've made myself coffee - freshly ground, which always tastes nicer, somehow.

Internet is acting up - not staying on reliably. Plus, I woke up with a headache. Again.

But the good news is: my boss paid just under half my salary into my account last night! So I can top up my credit card an buy electricity ... well, if the internet plays along.

Well, laundry is in the machine. I've turned on the geyser, so I can clean the kitchen. 

Right. Laundry is outside and I've started the steamer. I'm steaming potatoes - so I can play with my new Rösti maker, and a gem squash and chicken bits. Funny thing: at Spar, different parts of chicken come at different prices. But at the butchery, all parts are the same price / kg.

Daily roly poly on the grass with Mewthos. Twenty to noon, so ... power going off pretty soon.

Power is back. Kitchen is clean. I'm a bit disappointed with the chicken, though - I got far less meat off that whole lot than I expected! The potatoes need steaming some more, so ... back in action. Laundry is packed away. I've put the towels in the machine - I thought of adding some bedding, but just don't have the energy.

I was tired, so I tried to find a bit of space for myself to take a nap. All mippies were spread over the bed - family curled up together at the foot, Mini by my pillows.

After the nap, I cut the beans, then went into the garden for a bit. Pruning trees. Looks a lot better. The nice thing about this time of year is, whatever I clean will keep till spring. I also cut off all the frosted Vinca, trimmed my Rosemary a bit - it's doing really well!

I had a little trouble getting Mewthos and Mini inside - they were fascinated by something in the compost heap. I ended up carrying a cat under each arm, ha ha!

Now I'm running my bath ... then relax till the power comes back on.
