I didn't sleep well, not well at all. No, I don't know why. Consequentially, I'm not feeling too hot today. Drained. Great way to start the day, eh?

Well, I made my coffee, cuddled mippies, off to work.

I've been having a look for a manual mincer at Takealot. Found three: Identical photos, one clearly photo-shopped, three different prices! Takealot is becoming seriously fishy ... trouble is, on that site, I'm experienced by now, so I know what to look out for. If I try a different supplier? I just had a look at 'Loot'. Same photo-shopped photo, four times the price! So ... yeah ... just: NO!

It does make shopping for items I'm not familiar with, quite laborious ... something to do on a rainy day, I'd say.

This weekend, I'll order mippies' treats and spot-on, they're due for another treatment next week; and the essentials from Takealot. If the mood takes me, I may spend some time - but with all that produce at home, I don't think I will.

Back at home, load shedding ... for another hour ... I had planned to make the marinade at that time - but the meat was still frozen.

I'd written the below before, last night, but it went poof! Internet wasn't co-operating ...

I'm not going to write all again, just a summary: I processed the tomatoes, they're all pureed, but I still need to re-pack for freezing. I've marinated the meat for my stew. I've steamed potatoes and carrots. Shared dinner with my mippies - who all came inside without games.

I forgot to turn on the geyser, though. Too busy.

Then I watched an episode or two of fringe, before turning off the PC for load shedding at ten ...
