Good night, okay morning. I'm still not 100% okay, though. Headache came back last night, and I've been feeling a bit dizzy the whole day. Just mild dizziness - not so bad, that I need to worry about driving.
Well, off to work ...
Check the election results: we won! Good! It's a bit worrying, though, how close the other party got - first time they had a candidate in this ward, and took quite a big share of votes!
Funny story: apparently the guy who changed parties, is using 'lack of service delivery' as his campaign. As in: the party for whom he was councilor lacks service delivery. While he was councilor ... uhm, so basically, he's asking 'vote for me, I'm incompetent'.
Quickly went to get groceries - absolute minimum: milk, cheese, celery and cooking oil. The last item only because prices of cooking oil are rising. Oh, and my treat: TEX bar. Can't do without chocolate!
At home tonight, I'll have power for about half an hour ... then none till eight. I've already decided to have a cold dinner.
I'm almost at the end of the series I've been watching and can't decide which series to try next. I think The Twilight Zone would be fun.
I got back home, unpacked, cleaned up, then started dinner. Then, the power went off - but the food was done. Mippies came in early again, and Mewthos enthusiastically shared my dinner. Ziva had a bit, Mini was not impressed with my choice of meat.
During the outage, I watched some informative videos about the war in Ukraine. I'm not buying the media propaganda ... it doesn't make sense.
At eight, I just went to bed - I didn't even bother to turn on the PC. That's why I'm finishing this post Friday morning ...
