Not a good night, the weather kept Mewthos hyper throughout the night, and the odd lightning kept waking me, as well. Then, just before six, the power went off! I am SOOO tired of these constant power failures! Since I hadn't got up yet, it meant: no coffee! At least, no hot coffee.
On the way to work, the odd drop of rain kissed my windscreen - just a drop here and there, nothing to get excited about. At work it looks like there's been a slight shower, the streets are damp.
Back at home, I got quite a surprise! When the power went off this morning, I removed the lid off the flower fountain and took the plug out. When I got home, I found the lid almost perfectly back in place! Mippies really are incredibly clever!
Smeagol showed up today - he hadn't eaten for two days. Still looks fine, though. I went with him to the back for his lovies ... but he's shy again. And paid more attention to Mewthos than me - I didn't want to provoke a fight, so I left ... at least he'll be eating tonight!
Mewthos cleaned his bowl tonight, so I gave them a 4th treat just now! Yeah, I'm a sucker for my mippies ... no, I don't mind, since they don't treat me like their doormat! They make so much effort to make me happy, like closing the lid on their flower fountain! It's 100% two-way!
