I planned on going to Builders for some essential supplies - especially to raise the PH in my soil, AND to get some potting soil ... but with nobody here at work, it'll have to wait.
Bugger that! I went quickly to Builders. They have no Lime! Nor Perlite! And I checked both this weekend! No staff giving a hoot for customers - just stepping aside, so I could get out felt like a major imposition! Can't I see they are talking? Sigh ..
Well, I did get soil - though nothing else. That's one of the two key items I needed. Good enough for now. In future, I'll order everything else online. The biggest problem is, of course, with my lack of knowledge - I have no clue what else I could use. When shopping online - I can look it up. So ...
Anyway, another busy day at work ... done and dusted. Now I can look forward to my mippies!
Poor little Janey! Smeagol really did a number on her - he put his claws in the bald patch right behind the wound. I think that's what aggravated it again, because there was a lot of pus coming out of it again tonight. I mean a LOT! Not oozing, only when I pushed right behind the hole, where the lump was. Man, please let that be the end of it? Please? It hurts her when I clean it ... I'm seriously considering taking the day off to take her to the vet tomorrow ... only, I can't ... it worries me, though ...
