Normal morning, coffee, mippies ... work ...
Apparently 'hectic' is my 'new normal' ... can I go back to the real normal, please?
Well, on with the motley ... I did a quick trip to Spar, though. Milk and smokes ... and they also had more coffee, so I took another 3 bottles. At the same time, I'm - again - looking for alternatives. The only possible option, though, is filter coffee. My first problem here is the making ... having to stand there, dribbling water into the filter ... when I'm used to Instant Coffee? A coffee maker would take care of that, but I also have an issue with the 'keeping coffee warm' part of them - the coffee gets bitter when it's kept on a heating plate. So, I'm looking for a cheap coffee maker and a flask. Not like my Airpot, that's only good for water, because it sucks the liquid through a pipe - which would be almost impossible to clean. So, a simple flask, where you pour it in and pour it out.
Yeah, I'm overcomplicating things, I know. It's my way.
Of course, that still leaves the wee problem of 'how much' coffee to make ... ha ha ha! Yeah, it'll only work on weekends, when I drink several cups of coffee. Weekday mornings, the two cups will probably still be better using Instant. Or ... ??? Ha ha ha, off goes my brain on yet another tangent ...
Back at home, I unpacked, cleaned the litter box, re-filled Smeagol's food bowl and then the job that now takes the longest: watering my bottled seedlings, plants and the Marigold bed. When I took the big can to refill at the tap, Mewthos ran full speed ahead! Ha Ha! He still loves to participate in the watering! Then he went to look for a place to dig a hole ... where I wanted to turn the sprinkler on, to soften the ground so I could weed tomorrow afternoon ... I didn't have the heart to sprinkle him!
Well, now to unwind, relax, cuddle mippies ... and re-charge for another - albeit short - day of madness.
