Mewthos sirened through the place at half past three
this morning! I woke up, tried to ignore, turned over and eventually managed to
go back to sleep. I finally woke up when the alarm went off – followed by the
crash when mippies dropped my phone on the floor.
I forgot to mention, on our way back from the client,
yesterday, we saw a warthog family by the side of the road! Not an unusual
occurrence here.
Not much to tell today, I went to work, ordered my
work clothes, the PC is set up and I did as much as I could. I’m still
overtired and the day feels too long, in the afternoons I struggle to keep my
eyes open. I’m also not used to being on my feet all day, so they are quite
sore.
Back at home, I make tomorrows lunch, shower, cook
dinner, eat – and I’m ready for bed. Mippies seem to have decided that my table
is now theirs, they all lie stretched across it without batting an eyelid! When
I put my dinner on the table, though, Lady Jane jumped off – so it seems normal
rules still apply on some occasions! I’ve also watered the pot plants – all of
which are doing well!
I’ve put my cooler bag into the car, so that I can
maybe get away during the day to go to Spar and benefit from this super special
on lamb chops – the price is really extremely low, even lower than mixed grade
beef at the Acres in PE!
I sat for a bit on the bathroom mat, watching my
mippies at play. Surprisingly, it’s Ziva who is the most enthusiastic user of
toys! She was having a great time rolling the ball up and down the track, while
the minis just sat and watched! I still wanted to post to the blog, but I was
just too tired and went to bed …
