I spent time cleaning the driveway, again. Working my way around to the parsley, which desperately needs trimming.
I just took it easy. I wasn't hungry, I unpacked everything, packed my lunch ... just relaxed ...
Bedroom ... find half a mouse on the floor, table overturned ... organs on the floor. Cleaned everything up, went to sit on the bed ... to find the other half of the mouse on my bed!
No message re transport, went to bed early ...
Got up nice and early, around half past five. Gave mippies their breakfast. Still no message re transport, so I just relaxed, enjoyed coffee, scratched mippie ears. Janey came to sit on my lap. Around seven I went and fed the ferals, then went to wait outside.
Ten past seven a phone call, boss' mum. She got stuck in traffic and is only leaving the factory now. No problem. As I had quite a bit of coffee, I went back inside to use the loo, came out ... perfect timing! As I stepped out, I saw the car coming along the drive.
Boss mum said she also enjoys cherry tomatoes, so I gave her this week's harvest. Saves me from having to process them. She asked 'how much' ... I don't charge, I give away surplus harvest.
I've been working a bit on my budget ... so far, I've just scanned in documents ... stumbled across the microchipping documents and decided to see if I can update my data. Apparently I'm not authorised to enter the birth dates - and the vet didn't include them. Ah, well. I have, however, updated my address.
Then I went to have a look at a replacement for my multi cooker ... and it seems that now is a good time to buy. Makes sense, they're mostly for winter meals. And they're not all that expensive, either. But selection is becoming quite complex: do I buy another multi-cooker? Or a pressure cooker? Or a slow cooker?
Okay, slow cooker is out.
Hmmm ... pressure cooker sounds intriguing. Apparently they've made some advances since my childhood, ha ha ha! I remember pressure cookers as scary pots that can explode ...
I'm leaning towards another multi cooker, though ...
Anyway, almost time to go home! I'm going to take a chance and ... nah, I'll publish now. Load shedding at eight ... and if I start playing in the garden, I won't want to come in early to go online ...
