The power dipped a few times, during the thunderstorm ... and at ten it went off completely. I couldn't catch the last 15 minutes of the episode I was watching ... well, I had my smart phone to audio-book me to sleep, though.
Fortunately they power was back this morning, so I could make my coffee. It rained quite a long time last night. As I was leaving for work, I saw a couple of mm in my rain meter ... at least 5, hopefully more!
I took my smartphone to work today, so I could charge it - just in case. Everybody is talking about the extreme weather last night, several areas had power outages - areas nowhere near me! One colleague told me about the lightning lighting is bedroom completely - it was quite eerie, the entire room lit as bright as you see in the alien abduction scenes ...
I had been trying to change my cat food deliveries, as per my current budget ... I just got mail that all is done! I'll just have to keep an eye on the dates. They even applied a voucher - which was actually only intended for new orders. I didn't see that part of it in the mail ... that's really nice of them!
Back at home, Smeagol is really craving attention! Barely touched his food, though the bowl was empty when I arrived. Just mewls and rolls on the floor wanting me to stroke his head. Today he's a little too intense, as there was a fight, while I was re-filling the food bowl - I'm not sure who he fought, though.
Mippies came in very early, it's dark early again. I've taken out some of their old toys to play with them - some quality time. Three mips jumping after their stick ... but where's Ziva? It took a while, but I eventually found her: in the closet! With the door closed behind her! She likes her privacy on occasion. As do I!
