The power went out for a couple of hours during the night ... unless we're suddenly in Stage 3 Load shedding, I don't know why. Nothing about Load Shedding in the news, so ... another 'Oops! What happened?' Sigh ...
Well, last day of the long weekend, and I need to do my Sunday chores: bake bread, prepare lunch for the week, etc.
Mini has caught another squeaky toy ... a mouse! All four mips are watching the poor thing closely - with Mini growling very loudly! Funny, that. She is the most quiet of my mips - I've even wondered, whether she even has a voice, she so rarely uses it! She never mips for attention - she just reaches out to paw at me. But when she has caught anything, you can hear her growling!
They left me the tail to clean up. Nice of them, eh?
A tour on the veranda revealed that my Rosemary has sprouted! And when I went to check on my Nasturtiums, I was delighted to see the first one racing ahead to the sun!
I now seem to have five mippies sharing our quality time on the veranda, before we come inside. Fortunately Smeagol keeps his distance - he curls up under one of the ponytails.
Well, mippies are in, treated and Mewthos is on my chair ... so ... good night!
