Sunny Sunday

Mippies woke up early, I woke up late. I let them out just after six, again.

I still haven't got much energy, but somehow I managed to do what needed to get done. Although I made enough dough for a 900 gram loaf, I wasn't completely in the mood for experimentation. So, I just rolled the dough through the pasta machine, added a layer of mozarella and wrapped it around the Speckwurst and the spicy sausage from the German butchery. The mozarella is too soft to slice as thinly as I would have liked, and I had to make sure I'd have enough left for my Gordon Bleu.

I also took a walk through my garden and harvested what needed harvesting: some radish (which I sliced and added to one of the rolls), a few beans (ditto), and some basil and sage leaves. I added the sage to the Gordon Bleu.

I can't believe it's already five o'clock - it feels like I just got up; yet I'm as tired as if I worked hard all day. Just got no energy.

I wasn't hungry last night, so I didn't cook anything for dinner - but later I was hungry. So tonight, even though I'm not hungry, I'll make my Gordon Bleu. I did manage to wash the dishes again, though. At least the kitchen is clean for the week.

Well, there's not much more to tell ... Good night!
