But first: what a storm we had last night! The rain came down hard and fast as if someone was emptying buckets from above! At least mippies had had their time outside, so it didn't affect them. I just couldn't hear my audiobook over the rain - but that didn't bother me much.
This morning, Mini was in hyper-drive! Man, she pushed the lamp of the night stand, then switched it on, tried to pull my glasses (in their case) off the bed - and when I sat up to put a stop to it, she went and 'hid' under the night stand! Ha Ha! As if I'd be angry! Never have been, why would I now? But yeah, she was bouncing off the walls, zooming from room to room, into my wardrobe, over the bed ...
I got up quite early, as a result - but still managed to arrive at work late: traffic! Ah, well ...
As I said, work was crazy busy today. The cat food was delivered today, but the other order, they called to let me know that they are out of stock on the litter box. Sigh. It was on special - now I need to think what I want to do. I'll have to do that at work tomorrow, though - internet at home is lousy again. The blog doesn't need much data, it sometimes works even when none of the other sites do. Sigh.
When I got home, it started raining fairly soon - poor mippies! Didn't have much time outside! I quickly showered, just in case the power won't last - with bad weather, especially a thunderstorm, chances are that it will go out. Another sigh!
I'm worried about Mewthos cripple paw - it is quite swollen today! I don't know whether he fell or jumped off somewhere ... I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it was this swollen yesterday. I think I would have noticed? It doesn't seem to worry him, though - at least, no more than usual. I'm hoping it's just the rain - but I'll keep an eye on it. Again, if I was still in PE, I'd have bundled him into the carrier and been off to see the vet already - but here? It is such a long drive! Traumatic for him! Also, if I do take him, I'd like them to have his file from the vet in PE. Hach, my little worry baby! It breaks my heart seeing him hold his paw in the air like that ... and yet, he walks on it quite normally? I just wish I knew what I should do!
I'm being lazy tonight. I'll just fry myself a steak for dinner - share with my mippies, of course - and that's it. I'm not in the mood to wash dishes, after all. Ach ... whatever ... grin and sigh again.
