Relatively good night, relatively early morning. Taking it very easy today, though. Or rather: having recently re-started playing my online game, I'm getting stuck into it today. I've been getting the group back on track, now I'm upgrading my own city.
Well, I've done the laundry and cleaned the kitchen. Bit of a mess made by some of the tomatoes, which went a bit off ...
It was lovely gardening weather, early this morning - pity I didn't feel like going outside, eh? Now it's hot and blazing sun - not at all suitable! Also not ideal for using hot water - like, you know, to wash dishes? Nor ideal for cooking, either. Yet that's what I'm doing.
The flies in the kitchen are ... a pest! I don't know where they keep coming from or what they come for! Well ... I've got plenty of frogs in the garden now ...
Speaking of garden, I thought I might water ... but first, I wanted to do a bit of work. I eventually settled on deadheading the Marigold. It's not really necessary, but it looks much nicer, afterwards! I collected a lot of seeds, too ... I moved the pot a bit away from the car port, the poppy were being quite crowded by the Marigold. And with them half hidden behind and under the Marigold, I couldn't see the weeds taking hold in that pot. All clear now!
Then I started trimming the grapevine. Quite a lot of those leaves are turning yellow and brown. I can't find many grapes, though. Maybe, once I've cleared it up a bit, I'll find some more ...
Late inside. No Smeagol today? Bath ... no need for dinner, as I had eaten earlier.
I think I'd like to spend some time in the garden tomorrow. Depends on the weather, of course. I just need to make bread rolls and clean the kitchen afterwards tomorrow ...
