Two months - in pictures

I finally laid the grass-mat in the bathroom,
I've had to cut a bit for the corner
which is folded under the mat.
It works really well! Far less sand outside
the bathroom!

Rose's tomcat, Frankie comes to visit nowadays.
Since my Mips decided to nibble on his food - he's decided
to return the favour :)

He rarely relaxes in my home, though - he knows he shouldn't be here

Rose was feeding a neighbour's
dogs while they were away and
invited me to see their garden.
It's truly amazing - this is the
most stunning flower in bloom
that day!

Even Frankie plays with my cat's
toys :)

Mewthos went outside and less than a minute later came running
back with blood on his chin!
We think he tried to climb up one pole, fell, and scraped his chin
on the pole behind him ... why he has a perfectly round scrape-mark
under his chin, though?

He kept scratching his chin until it was bleeding again, so I had to put him in the 'cone of shame' for a few days until it healed.
See what I mean? It looks worse after he scratched it!

Frankie and Romeo are definitely NOT friends!

Romeo wants to come in for food (though there is food in the bowl
outside) but neither Frankie nor Mewthos let him pass

Frankie is such a beautiful cat!

One of the grasshoppers they brought inside flew to safety
at the top of my curtain rail!
Mippies are wondering how they'll get up there now :)

This sight scares the bejeebers out of me!
Especially with Mewthos sitting on the wall!

I re-arranged the lounge, and first thing, I took the drawers out of my desk
so I could turn it easier. No sooner were the drawers out,
than Mewthos climbed in!

Mewthos finally left, only for Lady Jane to climb in!

There's still some catnip on the scratcher

We luuuuves catnip!

His chin hadn't even finished healing when he came home with
some mark on his lips ... looks like he tried to bite a vampire, eh?

Remember when they were scared of the new chair?
Yeah ... that didn't last :)

All three now love the chair!

Lady Jane opens the
drawers of the desk to
select a toy to play with!

And so does Mewthos!

Surprise! The first Daffodil in bloom - Spring has sprung!

Even Shadow comes up to roll in catnip on rare occasions

I've seen a lot of rainbows in my lifetime - but this was the first time I ever saw an whole Rainbow!
A full half-circle, not just one end - but reaching the ground on both ends going all the way across!

And that's Felix sitting in the background
waiting for his turn to eat

I don't know where or how, but Mewthos managed to loose his flea-collar!
We never found it ...

Isn't this too adorable? The way Mewthos is hugging Ziva?

Even The Terror has been visiting me!

I never knew this about Penguins! Learned a lot visiting them!

Mewthos cleaning Lady Jane, while
Lady Jane cleans Mewthos!
Simulcast lick-fest!

Occasionally, the kitchen
is just too temptingly
close!

Lady Jane sporting a Fat Lip!
No, that's not her tongue - her lip is swollen!
I suspect she finally got stung by a bee. It had me worried, since it took a long time for the swelling to disappear,
nearly a whole week - but she didn't seem to be in distress, so I didn't take her to the vet.
I think it was a bee-sting, because now, when there's a bee in my window, she goes away - before this, she'd get all excited trying to catch it!

Yeah ... it's not my chair anymore!
On those rare occasions, when I DO sit in it,
my Mips sit in front of me giving me 'The Look'!
You know? The one that says "What are you doing in my chair,
and when can I have it back?"

Part two of the lounge re-arrangement.
No sooner was the bookshelf empty,
than Ziva went in and claimed it!

They were so cute after I tucked them in!

Aren't they just too cute?

Nearly 1 year old and he still twirlies!
He'll always be my little twirly-boy!

The Snapdragons are in full bloom!

I finally repaired the scratcher
and was rewarded with a rare sight
of Ziva playing :)
