Lock-down Day 221

Yeah, I'm not feeling too hot, so I messaged that I wouldn't be coming to work today.

I had some weird dream about work this morning, something about being flown to a directors' meeting in Germany? And about sitting in a scary person's home, watching his cats? And something about material management at work ... 

I woke at half six, when my alarm went off, but only got out of bed way after seven ... like I said, not feeling too hot.

I spent most of the day pottering around the house. Many little jobs here and there, the worst job being washing the dishes! I baked bread, cleaned the vegetable drawer - which turned out to be an easy task: I had to throw most of it away. Sigh. Thank you, Eishkom!

I followed up on the cigarette accessory order - they replied, I paid, delivery tomorrow.

Then I thought I'd enjoy doing some grocery shopping ... and you know what? I don't need anything! Well, no fruit, vegetable or meat! And I don't have much space left in my freezer, so ... I will, however, go to Superspar on Friday.

I do, however, need more cat litter - I just opened the last bag. So, I checked who offers the one I want at the lowest price - would you believe: Takealot? Their price is substantially lower than ePetstore! So I ordered three bags! What else do I need from Takealot? Hmm ... a UPS would be good! I spent time researching and comparing, then settled on one.

Seeing as I'm buying such a lot of litter, I decided it would be a good time to also try a closed litter box. First, I opted for a cheap one - then, when I looked at a reliable brand, I saw they ALSO include an air filter, to filter the ammonia out of the air inside the box. I never thought of that! So obvious, after all - if it's closed, even with the litter I'm using (which should seal everything, preventing any fumes) I'd rather be safe than sorry! Who'd want to poison their cats with their own ammonia? So, that's the one I opted for. With spare cartridges and spare filters!

I just double-checked and I really bought only the UPS for myself! Everything else for my mippies! And I didn't even buy one single toy for myself! I'm truly a mip-mommy now, ain't I? Ha Ha!

Anyway, I've eaten fruit (one of the melons was fine) and vegetable (the baby marrow). Had my steak - shared with mippies. Everybody is happy! I'll try an early night again ... hopefully I'm back to normal, or at least close enough to go to work tomorrow.
