I woke up half five! Don't ask, I just did. Must have slept well. Load shedding was due to start at five, so I got up and brewed myself coffee. Sat down in my armchair to think.
Work thinking. So I won't bore you with the details.
Mippies enjoyed plenty of attention this morning. Load shedding didn't happen ... power just stayed on! Shhh! Don't say anything, don't jinx it!
Went and got groceries. Splashed out a bit on fruits - they were on special. I hope I'll manage to bake the planned apple pie this weekend!
Once again, I stood, pondering, at the ice cream. Frankly, though, it looked somewhat too old ... goo and ice stuck all over it. I'm hoping to find the energy to take a drive to Ninapark tomorrow.
Well, almost time to go home ... I'll have to fill up on the way ...
Anyway. Back at home, Smeagol was waiting for me on the veranda again! So, first thing I do, after letting mippies out, is feed Smeagol!
I thought I'd carry on cleaning around the outside room ... to find new sprouts having grown, where I had cleaned two days ago! Well, I did manage to get most of the way along the back, done.
Back inside ... I'm still throwing away meat from the freezer! I had taken out some T-bones, fried it ... one taste ... even mippies wouldn't touch it! Fortunately I had got more today, so I cleaned the frying pan and started again. This really sucks!
Anyway, Ziva is demanding more cuddles. Load shedding from 04:00 - 05:00 tomorrow morning - that's because the 04:00 - 06:30 is Stage 2, which only ends at 05:00. That's when we go down to Stage 1.
Shall I leave the PC on? Worst I risk is waking up when the UPS starts beeping ... I expect around half five. Same time I got up this morning. So ... why not?
