Lock-down Day 552

All alarms went off this morning - Mewthos started mewling around four, Mini pawed at my face soon after, Ziva stood on my face ... live with cats! Never dull!

I enjoyed a leisurely cup of coffee before going to work.

I was a bit perturbed about having used the last pouch of Royal Canin last night - and here's my delivery! Perfect timing! Oh, and they also collected from the other place ... I still need to order replacement. I'll worry about that this weekend.

In the afternoon, it turned quite dark, I could hear thunder, and smell rain. It actually rained - at least at work! Lovely!

Back at home, it also rained! A nice 4.8 mm! The entire ground is no longer hard, but soft under my feet! Mippies, of course, were less happy to find their outside toilet all wet - Janey came inside to use the litter box, just after I had cleaned it! Ha Ha!

Next, I had a look at the flower fountain. When I came in, I saw it wasn't working - and for a second I feared we had no power - but the outside light was on, so ... Well, I don't know what was wrong with it, I couldn't find any blockage. I did clean it and tried again - and, luckily, it worked! Mippies watched eagerly, while I was trying to fix it - they all love using the flower fountain! I'm glad it's working again!

Since it had rained, I didn't need to water - except some of the pots which are too far under the car port and didn't get much rain. I cut some spinach for At - I had cut a good bundle on Tuesday, for him and our driver to share ... and when it came to it, our driver got it all. At said it's okay, but I know he, too, enjoys the spinach. Then I cut the first two open roses! I believe rose bushes do better if they are cut frequently, so I've decided to brighten up my office.

Ziva tried to help herself to my dinner, before I could even start frying it - half of my steak landed on the floor! They're not usually that greedy ... but I guess she just couldn't resist. Anyway, I'll have my dinner - sharing generously, as always - then shower, then brush mippies (it's that time of year again - they're shedding profusely), then bed ...
