In a fit of activity, I washed my new coffee maker and thermos last night, then set it up so I could enjoy my first filter coffee this morning! Given my feelings towards washing dishes, I don't know what came over me. I quite appreciated my fit of insanity this morning, though, when I sat down to a lovely cup of filter coffee! I'm still going to have to experiment a bit with the different flavours, though.
I also had a WhatsApp conversation with my landlord, he'll sort out the water electricity for the past year, and from now on, I'll send him the pic every month. He'll probably send me electricity tokens, not deduct it from my rent - I'm happy with that! Whether it comes off my rent or electricity is all the same to me!
Mew-larm went off from three in the morning, again! At five I gave up and got up. Enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee! Mippies were a bit confused that there was not kettle whistling - so they just huddled around their milk bowl, wondering when they get their morning milk!
I'm at work very, very early - thanks to my Mew-larm He was also not very happy about me leaving for work, this morning. Normally he curls up on the sideboard in the lounge, getting a few goodbye kisses as I walk past to leave - this morning he strolled along the desk with me, as I walked past.
Back at home ... no power. Grrrr. I realised it would probably be off on my way home, as the robots were off.
It's quite windy, almost worthy of PE! As long as no branches hit my roof, I won't complain. Just hope the power comes back soon.
Biggest bugger up is that I can't water, so the ground won't be soft tomorrow afternoon, so I won't be able to weed. I'll cut / saw branches then. I already clipped some of the bushes in front, might as well see what I can do about all those dead branches.
Cold dinner tonight, I just hope that I can make coffee tomorrow morning!
And at least internet works, so I can write and publish this from my phone.
