Overcast, I think a few drops of rain fell during the night - and I definitely heard thunder. But no power outage - bonus! Early morning, enjoying coffee, then work.
Back at home, Smeagol is waiting! I have some indoor chores first, and by the time I'm ready to go to him, he's already fighting with Mewthos! Sigh ... I go out, spend a bit of time with him - no touching, though ... he's quite skittish. He also looks the worse for wear, poor boy! Eventually he goes off, without even having eaten! Poor boy ...
I'm still pruning the peach tree. I think I'm getting the hang of it - it helps seeing how drastically previous tenants had pruned it. Cut it really short! So, I've gone over the areas I already cut yesterday, pruning a bit more aggressively. I'll need to get the step ladder this weekend, though, to reach the rest.
Getting mippies inside is no problem - not with Smeagol possibly still nearby! They're all quite wary of him!
Treat mippies, fry myself dinner ... and notice that it's unusually quiet in the house? No mipping? No dashing? Argh! I left the back sliding door open! Mini had come in the front and gone out the back, when I called them in earlier - she only came inside when the food was in her bowl! And I forgot to close the door once she was inside!
Mippies were happily hunting hoppies under the Jacaranda tree! Very close, and they came happily inside when I called!
Another colleague saw the spinach I brought At this morning, so I cut him a little bunch, as well. I'm putting spinach into everything I can, on weekends, plus a bunch for At and now another bunch for another colleague - and there's still plenty growing! Finally some perks - after all that work, ha ha!
