Lock-down Day 402

I allowed myself the luxury of sleeping late, and only got up twenty past six! Let mippies out, so I could get a little peace ...

As always, that didn't last very long. Mippies come running back, wanting cuddles - or even better: mommy come outside to play! It's quite nippy again today, and I have some chores to do today. Yesterday, I went on the heavy duty digging mission, mostly to warm up - can't do that today, though.

The bulldozers are busy outside, again. Mippies are not happy about that.

Today, I swept the house, as a warming up exercise. I'm happy to say that sweeping warmed me up a treat - no need to go overboard and wash the floors as well, he he he.

I was going to start the bread dough, but Mewthos insisted I come outies to play! So, I spent a little time out back ... and started picking out thorns, ha ha! No time to dig them out, but at least I can halt their spread for a bit ...

Well, bread dough is on the go, lunch won't take very long to make, so ... please may I go outside to play? I mean, to garden?

And what do I do? I clean the veranda! More sweeping ... spiders are abundant! Everywhere! Every pot, every corner, every space is covered in spider webs ... urgh! First, I moved the bottomless pots under the carport - on the ground. Within seconds they were occupied!

Well, the veranda is clean ... probably only for about five seconds, though! I've also taken out two garden chairs and cleaned them off, they can live on the veranda.

Bread rolls are in the oven, it's half three. I just enjoyed the first cigarette on the veranda, sitting on a chair! Lovely!

Right, lunch is cooked, now I just need to wash the dishes. Urgh ... my favourite thing!

All done! Dishes, lunch is packed, laundry just needs to be folded and packed away.

I pottered around the garden for a bit, Ziva is playing 'mommy rescue'. It's where she gets onto the roof then pretends she needs help getting down. She hasn't played that for a long time, now, suddenly, it's her thing, again! Well, I'm not lugging the step ladder around again - I just go stand by the car port, waiting for her to decide to come down. Which she does. Then I scratch her ears for a while and she's happy!

Well, I enjoyed a lovely hot bath - a bit too hot, at first.  Shared my dinner  - Ziva had only two pieces,  Mini one, but Mewthos enjoyed plenty!

When I came back, after my bath, Mewthos had curled up on my chair  ... again! Well, I'd rather give up my chair than have him sleep by the front door!

So, I can't write much more, as I still don't do well on this tiny, virtual keyboard.  Time to curl up on the bed, ready for brushies ...
