Like a child, I stayed up late - and slept late, ha ha!
I hope I've finally broken my paralysis over this meal planning. It's really weird, the way some really simple planning can totally paralyse me. I just get stuck, like a program hitting a loop - and go round and round and round ... when all I need to do it simply take action. Any action. Just to break the loop ...
What I've done is, fish out most of the meat - which is now almost done - place it in vacuum bags, in the freezer ... then take vegetables out and toss them inside, heat it all up, when it's done, give it the final touch.
Blerry heck! I just noticed mail that my parcel is en route - and I can't re-schedule! Sigh ...
Just had a roly poly with Mewthos out front - which was fine, until Ziva came running past with a mouse! They've been very busy catching and bringing in mice all weekend.
This is what it looks like now. I'm slowly clearing the patch - it looks done, because the grass is low, but take a closer look:
You see those strands of long grass in there? Each one is a plant - a horror plant. And when I try to mow, every single strand becomes a shoulder jerk ... I've cleared at the back, I took this photo away from the wall.
My flower bed in front of the veranda. Looking nice again.
And that's the first rose bed. I've cleared half ... this was the easiest of the rose beds to be cleared ... lots of work ahead.
I'm thinking of planting melon and sunflowers there.
At one point, Mewthos came sirening towards me ... I was ready for a cuddle ... but he just sat in front of me, watered the bed ... and left! I feel so loved!
At least we didn't have the catastrophe's today! There was some mewling and howling - but some way away. Not in my garden.
Mippies came in after our quality time on the veranda. After I treated them, I enjoyed a lovely hot bath. I've had dinner, and took a muscle relaxant ... Now it's time to cuddle before bed ...
