I don't know what time the president finally did address the nation - I was fast asleep by then. Internet was slow, even went off for a while there, anyway - so there was no point staying awake, waiting for an announcement.
I woke up very early this morning, though - so I checked the news, just in case ... Soldiers are being deployed ... well, what can I say? Just hope I get to work and back safe and sound ... though there wasn't any rioting along the road yesterday. I can only hope it stays that way ...
At work, I've got one system ready - now I need to populate the database. Which is laborious, tedious and really ... it takes heaps of time to gather the information, verify it, check it, and so forth ...
Back at home, mippies have had a busy day! I found my ashtray halfway across the lounge! Well, no worries!
I get my chores done, dinner, bath ... I just want to switch off ... I wish I knew how to really relax, recharge, you know? I just feel like I'm draining ... with a bit of idling in between, then draining more ... I just wish business would turn around. We'd get more orders. But with the rioting going on now? Our client wouldn't even risk sending a driver to collect ... it feels like it's going from bad to worse with now end to the downward motion in sight ...
Yeah, I'm feeling somewhat down. It happens. I'm very fortunate that I'm not suffering from depression - when I feel down, it's either for a reason, and when there none, it still passes. I'm really grateful for that. I don't know if I would be able to cope with clinical depression ...
Anyway ... I'm going to snuggle under the duvet and cuddle any mippie who's fluff is within reach - and they'll just have to lump it! Ha Ha! They like getting their ears scratched, but not so much having their tummies tickled - and their tummies are so lovely and fluffy! So, we 'wrestle' ha ha ha!
