Not the best of nights, and I woke up late. Sigh.
Mewthos mewled me awake, actually; though only after the alarm gave him
permission. Last night my entire family deserted me – they all slept in the
lounge and left me alone in the bedroom.
For some reason Lady Jane decided to widdle outside
the box last night. I don’t know why. I’m hoping she just sat there and didn’t
actually widdle, since there was no covering activity afterwards.
At work I had a bit of a run in with some
ex-suppliers. Their work has been finished on site for a while and they don’t
have staff on site anymore. For some reason they decided to show up today and
load their toolbox – as such, not a problem. Only: They just came on site and
started loading stuff! They did not have the courtesy to inform anyone that
they were planning to do so, nor did they have the courtesy to announce their
presence. I happened to be walking past and saw them, and asked what they were
doing – turns out they need a favour from me! When I asked them about their
lack of common courtesy they just back-chatted – you know, the kind, where they
start their argument with “Ja, but …” Fortunately one of the guys on site could
supervise their loading – he knew which is theirs and which ours. And I have no
doubt when they got their favour and were out of my earshot they called me an
unreasonable bitch! Seriously – Who (or what) raised you?
Back at home, the Mips would love to go out, but not
without me. So I get something to do and go sit in the garden for an hour or
so. I took some photos of jumping Mips and playing Ziva. And it was good to see
Mewthos run up the tree with Lady Jane!
I think we’ve figured out why Mewthos is still sort of
limping – there seems to be a cut on his pad! It’s not infected and healing,
but I guess it’s still giving him some discomfort.
Back upstairs it turns out the since the Mips don’t
have a climbing tree indoors, I’ll just have to serve! Mewthos on my lap and
Lady Jane walking around on my chest and shoulders!
The online game I play is running another Adventure,
which is high-activity – and has kept me busy most of the evening. Not that I
allowed that to interfere with my Mip & Ziva play time.
